Youth coaching boost for Derriaghy CC
Elwood and Brown will also support the club's popular Kwik cricket Festival Day in June when several local primary schools compete at Derriaghy's Queensway home ground.
Fred Scott of Elwood and Brown said that as part of his company's objectives to support the health and well being of young people in the local area they fully endorsed the Derriaghy programme and the part they play in contributing to youth sport.

Hide AdClub spokesman David Skelton welcomed the assistance from Elwood and Brown and also that received earlier from Lisburn City Council.
Derriaghy are now gearing up for the start of their new season and will be holding a registration evening tonight (Friday) for new and existing members between 6pm and 7pm at their clubhouse.
Anyone from 7 years upwards interested in playing the sport is welcome to come along. As well as handing out the necessary registration forms and collecting the 20 membership fee for the season there will be the opportunity to meet with many of the clubs coaches.
Training times for this season will be similar to 2009 with Under 11s (primary school) on Tuesday evenings from 5.45 to 7pm starting on April 20. For Under 13s training will also be on Tuesday evenings from 6.45 to 8.30pm starting on April 27. Those in the 14 to 16 age group will train on Wednesday evenings from 6.45 to 8.30pm commencing on April 28.

Hide AdAnyone else interested in playing should come along to the club on a Monday evening at 6.30pm.
The Derriaghy First team have organised a friendly at home for tomorrow (Saturday) against Templepatrick starting at 2pm.
