Despite not playing to their best they defeated Sullivan Upper 2-0 in the final with captain Scott McCabe, son of former Lisnagarvey coach Peter, scoring a real cracker on the reverse stick and Andrew Clarke also on the score sheet.

Wallace coach Neal McKnight said: “The boys have been really excellent all year and certainly had a tough run to the final where they faced a very good Sullivan team.
“It has been a great season for boys hockey at the school with us hosting the Irish Schools Dinner in October and reaching four finals but I have to say that it was great to at last get some silverware. We will now look forward to the John Waring Trophy in April,” he added.
