Tourney joy for Bush Valley and Kilrea
The two tournament sessions were held in the University of Ulster sports hall with eight teams playing in the morning and eight in the afternoon.
The morning tournament for the larger schools saw Mill Strand Primary and Lislagan Primary fight their way through the group stages to secure a place in the first semi final with Mill Strand winning on penalties after the game finished 1-1.

Hide AdThe second semi final of the morning also ended up in a 1-1 draw between Bush Valley and Dunseverick with Bush Valley going through on sudden death penalties.
Bush Valley went on to win the final 2-0 with goalkeeper Andrew MacGregor winning the Best Player award.
The afternoon session for smaller schools saw Cullycapple and Kilrea compete in the first semi-final, with the latter running out 5-0 einners.
In the second semi final William Pinkerton Memorial, who had not conceded a goal through the group stages, defeated Castleroe 2-0.

Hide AdKilrea scored the only goal of the game to defeat William Pinkerton in the final.
