Swifts move clear at the top
Up frst for the Swifts was C Scott (2x140,100) beating I Sinclair (100) for the early advantage. He was followed by D Norton (140,2x100,18 darts) and when D Glenn(140,126,2x100,17&18 darts) took out W Kane (4x100) to make it 3-0 things looked bleak for Bertha’s.
G Dallas (2x140,3x100,17 darts) beat T Sinclair (140,100) to make it 4-0 before D Moffatt (125) beat I Patterson (100) to secure the points for the Swifts.

Hide AdD Toner (100) took out D Bowman (135,100) in the sixth game before R Elliott (2x100,140,105,131) pulled one back for Bertha’s beating GG McKay (121,133), G Cox was awarded the final game for the Swifts with a walkover.
After last week’s defeat to the Swifts, Villa got back to winning ways to keep the pressure on at the top. P Moffitt (100,128 finish,18 darts) got Villa going followed by J McIntyre who got the better of T Dorrans (101) to put Villa 2-0 up.
D McGregor(180,21 darts) quickly made it 3-0 before A Mulholland beat D Kennedy (140) to make it 3-1. D Morrow (100,140,94 finish,21 darts) won the next for Villa, but Floyd’s battled on and won the next with S Collins (2x100) beating D Kennedy Jnr (121,2x100).
However it was Villa who finished strongest winning the final two games through M Barr (140,113,2x100,20&21 darts) and J McGarry(180,140,21 darts).

Hide AdFinns needed a win if they were to keep pace with the leaders but came up against a very good Railway Arms side who got the edge in what was a closer game than the scoreline would suggest.
It was Finns who drew first blood with R McMullan (140,2x100) beating R Parks (2x100), K Scanlon (100) levelled the score with a win over R Patton (105). C Murray (121,100) then got the better of A Quinn (2x100) to give Railway Arms the advantage.
A Owens (3x100,140) extended their lead beating R McKeown (140,3x100) and C Quinn (3x100,120 finish) made it 4-1 to the hosts throwing well to beat S Greer (101).
J Elliott (4x100,21 darts) reliable as always gave Finns hope beating V Phillips (2x100) to make it 4-2 with two games to go, but their hopes were short lived as C Platt (100,140,118 finish) swept aside last week’s star B Glass (100) to give the hosts the points.

Hide AdJ Owens (100,135) then went on to win the final game for Railway Arms as he got the better of G Keys (2x140,129).
RBL continue to move up the table though they rode their luck to get the win against Temple. J Walker (2x100) followed by excellent G Watton (2x100,121,140,17 darts) both looking to rekindle their past form quickly put the visitors 2-0 and firmly in control but the Temple came back first through S McCarron (3x100) beating W Gault (140,100,120) then G Friel (3x140,2x100) beat J Kane (126) to level the score.
R Kane (100) beat N Moore (2x100) to put RBL back in front but the hosts came back again when R Friel (160,177,100,19 darts) took out H Stirling (100,140).
RBL however had the experience of B McLaughlin (140,137,100) to put the visitors back in front and with J McLaughlin getting a walkover in the final game RBL walked away with the points.

Hide AdFloyd’s continued their good run of form with an excellent win over Tavern. J Allen and G Stirling (140,117) put the visitors 2-0 up, R Watt(140,100) then took out S Patterson (174,100) to make it 3-0 before A Hall (2x100,140) beat C Kennedy and A Allen (100) beat M McDaid(100) to secure the win for Floyd’s.
R Fillis (180,122) then beat M McMullan (125,116) to make it 6-0 and T Thompson (2x100) and A McBride (140,2x100) won the final two games to give Floyd’s an emphatic 8-0 win.
Kelly’s Inn stay in the top half of the table with a good win against a Sperrin side who have a few good results lately.
The young J McNeil (2x140,2x100,110) got the hosts going beating D McNeill (2x100) followed by S Mullan (2x100) who got the better of B Robertson (2x100) to give Kelly’s a 2-0 lead.

Hide AdW Robertson (117,100) won the next for the Sperrin but E Montgomery (100) restored Kelly’s advantage beating N McVey (123,100). S Gibson (105) made it 4-1 as he took out S Scott (105) before M Doherty (140,2x100) beat J Gaile (3x100) to seal the points for Kelly’s. An in-form A Haytor (3x100) then beat A McVicker (2x100) to make it 6-1 followed by B Quinn beating B McNeill (100) to wrap the game up.
