Potters eye All Ireland team glory
Potters, from Long Commons in the town, lost in last year’s final - 3-2 to Drumaness at the Gleneagles Hotel in Killarney - and are determined to come home with the winner’s trophy this time around.
Team skipper Willie Eakin is hopeful that his six man team can rise to the occasion.
“We are going down there to try and win it.

Willie’s team includes Mal Iwrin, who has come home after many years in England and also talented cueists Raymond Baxter, Lee Hull, James Nesbitt and Ady Toner.
Twelve months ago Potters topped their round robin group before defeating Terry Rogers C in the quarter-finals and then beating North West in the semi-final.
The championships - which will feature the best snooker clubs and players in Ireland - open with the Billy Telford Singles on Wednesday, with the team competition breaking off on Thursday.
