Pauline runs to victory in Fairhill road race
The ever improving Pauline Thom was a popular winner in the female open race on the streets of her home town with a composed display. She was happy to feel her way into the race for the first 3 miles before making her move from 2 miles out sweeping to victory in a seasons best time of 30mins 38secs.
Mark McKinstry continued to bring his times down and was 2nd male for the second successive year with a pb in 25min 34 sec.

Hide AdVernon Shiels was 2nd in his age category also recording a personal best time of 29min in 14th place overall.
Newcomer and one to watch for the future John Miskimmin was 20th in 29min 37sec also recording a pb.
Conor Shiels was 22nd in 29min 47sec bettering his time from last year by 3 mins.
Liam Gribben was 122nd 37min 1sec. Catherine Stewart finished in 44mins 15sec also setting a pb.
