Hide AdLurgan responded with the respectable total of 233 and it could have been even better if star batsman Rahul Mankad had not been run out for 80.
Waringstown piled on the pressure in the second innings with a score of 230 for six with Charlie McCrum the top scorer on 59.
It left Lurgan with the massive task of making 301 to win and when they lost Mankad for just four runs it was all uphill for the town side.
Young Indian visitor Ronan Shah made 102 but Lurgan were all out for 208 and finished up 92 runs short.
