Mossley Ladies defeat Owls to claim league and cup double success
It was Owls who looked the more likely to get their hands on the silverware in the early stages of the clash when strikes from Karen Brady and Hannah Allen gave them a two-goal advantage inside the opening 10 minutes.
But Mossley hit back with Tori Wallace and Louise Creighton bringing the scores level at the break.

Hide AdIn the second session vice-captain Nicola McMillan stepped up to take the strike from a penalty corner and put Mossley ahead for the first time.
Owls were relentless, and a wayward pass saw them make a break for goal, but keeper Joyce McConnell did enough to thwart the danger.
Mossley then took control of the game when Katy Aston netted number four.
