MOSSLEY HOCKEY CLUB: Glenny lands double for Glademen
The Donegal side opened the scoring following some confusion in the Mossley circle, but two mintues before the break David Glenny converted from a well-rehearsed penalty-corner routine to level the scores.
Glenny was in the right place again in the second session when he struck to double Mossley’s advantage.

Hide AdJordan Robinson then gave the Glademen a two-goal cushion when he slammed home from another penalty-corner. Ten minutes from time, Raphoe pulled another goal back but it was too little too late.
Mossley play their last group match this weekend against Kilkeel and hope to qualify for the semi-finals for the second year running.
Elsewhere, the club’s 2nd XI lost 2-0 to Lisnagarvey II in their opening fixture of the season. The thirds won 8-1 against Antrim 2nd XI, with goals from John Young (2), Matt Murray (3), Neil Cooke (2) and Mark Lee.
