Loreto triumph in All-Ireland Finals
Loreto’s Ulster Champion, Abigail McBroom, took fourth place in the All Ireland final, with her team mates Niamh Carr placed twelfth and Molly Brennan twenty-ninth: enough for the team to take first place in Ireland.
There was a tremendous performance on the team by all team members: Abigail McBroom, Niamh Carr, Molly Brennan, Emma McLaughlin, Anna Morrison and Victoria Tsang. The girls, who are all Year 10 students, had taken bronze at Ulster level, but improved on this to return home with an All Ireland title.
