Great weekend for South ladies
South started with a strong attack against Ballycastle, but with a good counter attack from Ballycastle they scored their first goal.
Even though South dominated the first half with lots of attack from Alex Dugan, Morgan Muir and Amy Wright half time came for South without a goal.

Hide AdAt the beginning of the second half the girls came out strong winning a short corner. They were soon rewarded with a strong strike and goal by Morgan Muir.
South ladies earned another goal from a well taken lift over the goalie by Alex Dugan. At the end of the second half Ballycastle scored their second goal via a well taken short corner. Player of the match was awarded to Alex Dugan and Morgan Muir.
Victory for Seconds
South Antrim Ladies 2XI were keen to get back on the pitch last Saturday, after two weeks of postponed matches.
However, the short break did not deter the South Ladies as they continued their winning form, beating Donaghadee 2–0 at Bangor Grammar.

Hide AdSouth Antrim Ladies started the game with great determination and excellent passing between midfield, dominating the game from the beginning.
South had several early chances, testing the Donaghadee keeper, who made some excellent saves, preventing South from taking an early lead.
South were rewarded for their efforts late in the first half, following a break from the South midfield which resulted in Laura McConnell slotting the ball into the back of the net.
Donaghadee came out strong in the second half. South responded, keen to keep promotion hopes alive, and picked up their game.
Laura McConnell claimed her second goal and sealed the win for South Antrim Ladies.
Well done to Louise Boyd and Bethany Lockhart who were player of the match.
