Women’s US Open awaits for Meadow
The University of Alabama student, named as the 2014 Elite 89 Award recipient for the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships last week, qualified as an alternate on Wednesday (May 28), having finished third in a Sectional Qualifier at Oak Valley Golf Course in California in May.
Before she travels to Pinehurst, Meadow will tee it up for Great Britain and Ireland in the Curtis Cup at St Louis Country Club in Missouri from June 6-8.

Hide AdA Jordanstown native, Stephanie was Irish Under-18 girls’ champion in 2006 when she was only 14.
This will be her second Curtis Cup campaign. In 2012 she holed the winning putt at Nairn GC, beating Amy Anderson 4 and 2.
Meadow is ranked seventh in the World Amateur Golf Rankings and was competing in her fourth NCAA Championships after a season that brought two tournament victories, taking her Alabama career tally to a record nine.
