Sean Quigg (1) took the gross prize on 37 points and Wilf Donnell (12) won the front nine with 20 points. Brian Abel (25) took the back nine score with a fine 25 points equalling the winner’s amazing score on that part of the course. Robert Wilson (10) from Cairndhu was the best of the visitors with his 31 points.
Ciara Quigg (16) and Mary O’Doherty (34) took first and second place in the ladies section with 30 and 28 points respectively over the 13 holes played.
Their achievement was remarkable in that they finished in the exact same order in the Northlands open played on the previous Sunday.
