Lisburn GC celebrate the season at annual awards dinner
Albert and Jane exhibited their expertise in providing a superb meal.
The Captain John Boyd presented the club trophies and then proposed the toast to the Golfing Union of Ireland.

Hide AdHe congratulated the GUI on the success of the young Irish golfers, especially Paul Dunne, Shay Lowry and Chris Selfridge. He hoped the Ulster Branch Talent Identification officer was looking towards Lisburn after the success of their team in the Irish Junior Foursomes.
The Chairman of the Ulster Branch Eamonn O’Connor made a suitable reply and proposed a toast to Lisburn Golf Club.
Vice-Captain Ken Haslem proposed a toast to the guests and thanked Fred Dalzell for his generous sponsorship. The guest speaker Ian McIlrath, Chairman of the Irish Rugby Football Union, spoke of his work encouraging club rugby in Ireland.
