William Horner must win soon. He was runner-up in last week’s Thursday Open and he was runner-up again here.

Hide AdWEDNESDAY JULY 24 - The sweeps for the juvenile members continue every Wednesday during the school holidays.
Jason Greenaway, the club professional, helps with the organisation and he has arranged coaching sessions for the juveniles as well. Incidentally, the twos pot on this particular Wednesday was divided between Conor McCullough and Callum Barnes.

THURSDAY JULY 25 - Eamon Galloway had a brilliant second nine in the Open Stableford, 23 points, to thank for his victory. Gerry Magee matched Eamon’s score but lost out on countback.
