GOLF: Team 9 take early lead at Foyle
The best six from ten cards counting and the top eight qualifiers will take part in the Match Play, and with eight weeks still left in the qualifying there is still more than ample time to enter a team.
With the first cards returned, Team 9 consisting of Stephen Radcliffe, Paul Maxwell, Stephen Moran and Niall Cassidy having returned a fine score of 98 points lead the way by two points from Team 6 of John J Logue, Cormac Cassidy, Albert Gurney and Kieran Duffy, currently in third spot on 95 points is Team 13 of Harry Lafferty, John Lafferty, John Duffy and Gary Kennedy, with a host of other teams also returning very good scores.
