We must learn from this says Kearney
Speaking at Saturday night’s Garvagh, Kilrea and District Supporters’ Club awards night Kearney said his side had to learn from the disappointment of this season and focus on moving up a level next term.
“The harsh reality is it’s football and for where I want to be and where the board and the fans want to be this season wasn’t good enough,” he said.

“That will come from a real feel good factor and that comes from every aspect of the club.
“A line has been drawn under this season and we can make of it what we want.
“For me I’m going to take a lot of learning from it and it will put serious fuel in the fire for next season.

“We now have a very promising Reserves and Colts set up and I would like to thank Johnny Law and all the coaches for all their hard work.
“For the first time in my time here we now have players who are capable of pushing the first teamers for their place.
“We all need to up our game now. When we report back for pre-season training we all need to go up another notch and take us up another level.
