Lafferty offered new Burnley deal
The former Derry City defender will now take time to consider what is a very attractive opportunity to re-sign for Sean Dyche’s men, who are Premier League bound after two years in the Championship.
Despite only making 35 appearances since signing in January 2012, the newly-promoted side has decided to take a punt on Lafferty to help them make an impact in the top division.

Hide AdThe left-back has been given a vote of confidence by manager, Dyche, and the club as they look to strengthen this summer - and the boss hopes Lafferty will commit.
Moreover, the 26-year old owes Dyche for faith in his career when succeeding Eddie Howe at the helm.
Lafferty said: “I didn’t feature much under Eddie for whatever reason but now under Sean I’m enjoying my football again.”
