Exciting finale for ‘Reds’ sides
The Under 11s came away with some silverware, winning their age group Friendship Cup in an exciting match with Limavady Youth that some them come back from two goals down to win 3-2.
In the Under 9 Cup Final the Youth team couldn’t be separated from Ballymoney Utd YA, even after Golden Goal time and both teams shared the Cup trophy in the end. The Under 10s enjoyed a great day of Champions Final Festival football.

They battled back and Moody turned his man and crossed into the danger area, where Kennedy scored the equaliser at the second attempt.
With no further scoring in golden goal extra time, both sides share the spoils after the culmination of a long and successful season.

Carniny 3, Limavady Youth 2: The Under 11’s lifted the NWCDYL Friendship Cup with a stunning comeback from 2-0 down to defeat Limavady in Ballysally.

But just before half-time, Adger collected a through ball and rounded the goalkeeper only to be fouled by the goalkeeper, the referee was ready to blow for the penalty, but Adger managed to stay on his feet and kept his cool to finish past a defender on the line.
With five minutes left, Ross Kerr latched onto a wonderful pass from midfield, and coolly finished with his left foot to tie the game.
And with barely a minute left, Ross Kerr fired in from another superb through ball to complete a sensational comeback.

‘RETRO’ EVENING
Carniny Amateur & Youth FC held a ‘RETRO’ football Champions League night on Saturday evening at the Adair Arms Hotel in Ballymena raising a considerable sum for club funds.
The idea of showing past games from throughout the world and trying to guess the score of the particular game is a new innovation in club fundraising and Carniny are believed to be the first club in the province to introduce this initiative.
