Dromore lose out in the battle of the Amateurs against Bangor
The game started with both teams trying to gain control and each team had an early chance to take the lead, but a great save from Ward in the Dromore nets and a dragged shot by Coady kept the game all square.
Dromore had two great chances midway through the first half when firstly a run by Maguire led to Downey through on goal but this time he missed the target, then Maguire had a header saved by the Bangor goalkeeper when it looked like he was going to put Dromore in front.

Hide AdBangor took the lead shortly after these missed chances, when a cross by the Bangor winger hit the post and the rebound was tucked away by the on rushing striker.
Dromore got the equaliser 30 seconds into the second half when a cross come shot from Haslem found its way into the back of the Bangor net.
The goal should have spurred Dromore on but for the next 20 minutes they let Bangor dominate the game .
Bangor got their second goal 15 minutes into the second half when the striker scored after the ball had bounced about the Dromore box and dropped kindly for him.

Hide AdDromore went looking for the equaliser but got caught twice on the counter attack leaving them on the wrong end of a 4-1 defeat.
Afterwards manager Dean Brownlee commented: “We had two glorious chances to take the lead but we failed to take them and got hit by a sucked punch.
“In this league you need to take your chances. We have five big matches left to try and get as many points as possible and if we can bring our A game then we can give any team a run for their money.”
Next week Dromore travel for the return fixture against Bangor Amateurs with a 2pm ko.
