Banbridge hit Ballymacash for six in battle of the Gers
The opening goal arrived for the away side in the 17th minute when Jason Gourley headed in an Aaron Buchanan corner at the back post.
The Gers had to wait until just before half time to double their lead with a goal manufactured by the Mallen brothers.

With only five minutes gone in the second half, it was the Banbridge Gers who were celebrating a 3-0 lead.
New signing Tom Grover made his first start for the club and had a debut goal to remember by finding the top corner from all of 25 yards.
Ballymacash brought the game back to 3-1 but soon after, the Gers regained their three goal advantage.

Ballymacash showed more fight with a second goal but the comeback was short lived as Banbridge went 5-2 ahead thanks to Jason Gourley’s second goal, which was converted from a Jason Adamson free.
In the final five minutes, the gloss was put on the result by midfielder Jordan McCracken who buried his shot beyond the keeper from 18 yards.
