Ballybogey go within touching distance of league title defence

Ballybogey recorded a good win against a stubborn White Eagles side on Saturday morning to move closer to retaining their league title.
In a good first half it was all ‘Bogey but good goalkeeping and missed chances kept the score at 0-0.

Hide AdIn the second half ‘Bogey got their deserved lead when Andrew Mooney scored and then put ‘Bogey two up when he latched on to a Tommy Elder cross.
James McLaughlin scored when he beat the keeper in the air after Nicholas McCook crossed.
He also got Ballybogey’s fourth from the penalty spot.
This was a good result and it leaves Ballybogey needing just one more win to secure the league title.
