Fit N Running club looks to continue success
The club, who are based at the Michelin Athletic Club, were formed just over three years ago.
Last year saw Fit n Running members achieve an average of six personal bests (PB) per athlete. Each of these athletes ran a PB at every distance which they have competed in.

Hide AdConnor McQuillan was the highest scorer with an incredible 17 PBs. He also qualified for every major Ulster and Irish Championship final on track and country.
The club can also boast an impressive medal haul which has saw them win seven medals at National level and one at international level when James Wallace claimed bronze with the Northern Ireland team on his international debut at the British and Irish masters in Cardiff.
Locally the club claimed 15 race victories and saw the emergence of Mark McKinstry who won six events.
In addition to this Mark featured in the winning team at the Larne half-marathon and finished second in the East Antrim Harriers Forest series. Throw in a bronze from the national road relay championships and it marks a fine full debut season.

Hide AdThe club has no intention of resting on its laurels and with winter training going well, the introduction of many new members including some talented juniors, the future looks bright.
The new members were very welcome additions and have added to the vibrant atmosphere and fitted in seamlessly to the club.
CLUB TIMETABLE
Fit N Running train four times each week with an attention to detail approach which delivers great results for all of its members.
Monday at 6.15pm is an easy paced run which is suitable for all levels and now includes beginners.

Hide AdTuesday at 6.15pm is Advanced level to improve speed and performance.
Wednesday at 6pm is strength conditioning training in a circuit format. There is also a weight-loss group on Wednesday evening with tailored nutrition plans and a weekly weigh in provided.
Saturday morning session are dedicated to long runs and start at 915am.
There is now a juvenile group on Tuesday evenings. New members welcome.
