Both teams played it very tight during the first forty five minutes resulting in no goals being scored in the first-half. Early in the second half Finvoy took the lead after Ian Parkhill blasted the ball into the top corner of the net on the 51st minute.

Carnlough got back on level terms when Emmett Rafferty set up the chance for Andy Bird to score from close range leaving the game finely balanced. Chances came and went at both ends before Ruari Lee got the all important goal on the 75th minute to put Carnlough in front.

Finvoy then threw everything at Carnlough in the remaining fifteen minute but with Keeper Conor McNeil in brilliant form Carnlough held out to claim their place in the final. Referee Mr Tom Stewart

CANADA TROPHY ROUND 2
