Elks out in front in Premier League
Ulster Elks sent out a huge message to the rest of the Premier League after they defeated defending champions Pegasus 1-0 at Jordanstown in midweek.
The only goal in Wednesday’s hard-fought match came courtesy of a Laura McAlpine strike early in the second-half.
The result sent Ricky Lee’s girls top of the table. Second-placed Ards do have a game in hand but Pegasus have now dropped five points and are seven points off the pace.
