Convincing win for Glebe Old Boys
Glebe OB started the game really strongly and should have scored a couple of goals before eventually taking the lead on 20 minutes when McKee drove the ball into the net from 20 yards after a goalkeeper mistake.
Glebe kept taking the game to their opponents and were awarded a penalty five minutes from half time when a Bertha’s defender was ajudged to have handled the ball inside the area.

Hide AdDavy Campbell stepped up to take the penalty and cooling slotted the ball into the net to leave the Glebe two up at halftime.
Bertha’s came out stronger in the second half and put the Glebe defence under a lot of pressure but Glebe’s defence held strong and dealt with everything that was thrown at them.
Midway through the second half McKee picked the ball up 30 yards from goal and burst past a couple of players before playing a one two with Elder and slotting past the Bertha’s keeper to put theGlebe 3 up and seal all 3 points for his team.
Manager Ian Bellingham commented: “I was very pleased with the result and even more pleased with the performance. This was a good three points to get against a good Bertha’s team.”
