Celebration time as Lurgan secure first ever Premier title
The girls only needed a point to make history and lift the trophy for the first time but they did it is style with a 2-1 win at Queens.
Lurgan took the lead in the 26th minute from a Charlene Hull penalty corner.

Hide AdHowever, Queens equalised in the 38th minute from another penalty corner.
A point would have been enough for the visitors, but they went in search of the winner and it came in the 43rd minute when Emma Lindsay finished off a through ball into the circle from Zoe Hawthorne.
At the end of the game the celebrations could began and the girls and coaching staff savoured the moment.
Lurgan will be presented with the trophy following their final league game of the season on Saturday against Ballymoney Ladies at Lurgan Junior High School.

Hide AdThe win on Wednesday night moved Lurgan onto 40 points, with only one defeat and a draw so far out of 15 games played.
