Ballela U12s results, tractor run, lotto and Take Me Out
The game was played in very wet and windy conditions.
Warrenpoint got the better off the start by scoring two goals to lead half way through the first half.
Ballela opened their account with a goal from Ronan McCrory and followed by a point from Owen McGreevy.

Hide AdJust on the stroke of halftime Owen McGreevy got a goal to leave Ballela winning by a point at half time.
Conor O’Hare in the Ballela goal was getting good distance on his puck outs and Paul McCusker, Shea Beattie and Cathal McClure were getting a lot tighter to their men in defence.
At the start of the second half Aidan McAleenan come on for Shea Beattie and Michael Heaney moved to defence with Owen McGreevy and Cathal McClure in midfield.
Ballela started the second half the stronger with Michael McGreevy and Niall McAleenan going close to scoring.

Hide AdThen Ballela hit a goal scoring blitz with Owen McGreevy from out the field, and a great strike from Michael Heaney and two from Cathal McClure.
Shea Beattie returned to the field for the last five minutes. The last score of the game was another goal for Cathal McClure. The final score was Warrenpoint 2.00 Ballela 7.01.
This was the best team performance from the team this year.

Hide AdThe tractor run costs £10 and starts at 2.30pm with registration beginning at 12pm (entry fee includes refreshments). The rally point is Ballela Road, Ballela, BT32 3TF and will follow a seven mile route. To take part in the tractor road run contact Peter 07774132407.
The car boot sale is in the Ballela GAC car park from 12.30 to 2.30pm. Cars £5 and vans and trailers £7.
Everyone is welcome with proceeds for Chest Heart and Stroke and Ballela GAC.
Lotto – This weeks’ Lotto numbers 2, 8, 17 and 18. There was one £10 winner - M McCaw. Sellers Prize - Anglers Rest.

Take Me Out - Ballela will be hosting ‘Take Me Out’ in the Belmont Hotel, Banbridge on Sunday 26 August. Tickets are £10 and can be purchase from any committee member. Proceeds for Spinal Ward, Musgrave Hospital and Ballela GAC.
