Athlete McKinstry records another sweeping victory
The gifted Fit N Running athlete was prominent from the start as he powered his way around the 26.2 mile course at Tollymore Forest park in County Down.
The extreme 26 event which attracted a field of 74 runners saw Glenwherry man McKinstry breaking the tape with a huge 9 minute advantage.Top 3 in men’s marathon as follows:

COUNTY CALL UPS
Fit N Running duo Mark McKinstry and Connor McQuillan have been named in the County Antrim teams which will compete in the Irish Inter county cross country championships to be staged in Dundalk this Sunday.
Mark will represent the senior men with Connor named in the U18 team.
NUTRITION PLANS
Fit N Running are continuing their athlete development by introducing Nutrition plans to its members.

Hide AdIndividual plans will be issued to those requiring body fat reduction, performance and healthy eating.
WEEKLY TRAINING
The club started have recently started their new Thursday evening session starting at 6.15pm.
This session is a 1 hour run for the intermediate group and a tempo type run for the advanced group.
Fit N Running also have an intermediate runners class on Monday evenings, an advanced. class on Tuesday evenings and 2 strength conditioning circuit classes on Wednesday evenings.
