Young Moneymore man who sped past unmarked police at 95mph disqualified
A young motorist who accelerated away from an unmarked police car on the Moneymore dual carriageway, reaching a speed of 95mph, has lost his licence for three months.
Ross Thomas McDonald, 23, of Stonard Street, Moneymore, was also fined £200 on a speeding charge.
McDonald was fined a further £115 for failing to produce his driving licence on November 7 last.
The court heard police were travelling at 60mph when the defendant’s car overtook.
