Workshops to assist groups get grants
Minister Givan said: “I am fully aware of the importance of volunteering to individuals, to communities and to society as a whole. Programmes such as this in association with our delivery partners demonstrate my Department’s commitment to nurturing the ethos of volunteering.”
LCDI is the lead organisation working in partnership with the Association of Independent Volunteer Centres (of which Causeway Volunteer Centre is a founding member), NW Volunteer centre and Volunteer Now to deliver the scheme.

Hide AdCauseway Volunteer Centre manager, Mary McNickle noted that, “This is a great partnership with much experience within the community and voluntary sector and a fantastic opportunity for the Volunteer Centre to be a local assistance to groups wanting to apply for the grant.
Organisations that apply could receive grants of between £200 and £1,200. To be eligible, organisations must be formally constituted and must have an annual income not exceeding £100,000 per year.
Applications can be found lcdi.co.uk/smallgrants Causeway Volunteer Centre is running out two workshops to assist groups who want to apply, 20th July from 10am-12pm in CVC, River House Coleraine and 2-4pm in BCRC, Acorn Business Centre.
