Work starts on new £2m water pipeline for Cookstown area
The project will involve the construction of 11km of pipeline from the Carland Service Reservoir, off the Dungannon Road, to Sandholes Road in Cookstown.
NI Water said the pipeline will be particularly important during winter periods, when the infrastructure may be vulnerable.

Hide AdThe company hope to have the first section finished by the end of November, with the entire pipeline due to be completed next summer.
Regional Development Minister, Michelle McIlveen, has welcomed the upgrade.
She said: “This major investment by the Northern Ireland Executive is good news for many customers in county Tyrone by improving the local water supply infrastructure and security of supply.
“It will also provide a welcome boost to the construction sector with the contract for the work being won by Saintfield-based firm Dawson WAM.”
