Wonderful Christmas shows at St Brigid’s
Each of the shows was a sell out and the audience shared the Christmas joy with the children.
First up was Class A (KS1 Learning Support Centre) with Countdown to Christmas which was wonderfully received by the very appreciative audience. This was followed by the Foundation Stage’s (P1& P2) traditional nativity show, which this year was entitled Born in a Barn. The nativity performance is always special for the parents and an important milestone in the children’s life in St. Brigid’s.

Class B (KS2 Learning Support Centre) took over next and they had the audience laughing all the way to the interval with their Back to the Future. There were plenty of gags and jokes at the expense of their poor teacher, Mrs McNally!
The second act of the Christmas Show opened with Key Stage Ones (P3 & P4) Prickly Hay, which combined the Christmas tale with a country and western theme. As is traditional, the show finished with Key Stage Two’s (P5-7) Across the Lands. The older pupils delivered well known hits, old and new, with a St. Brigid’s twist to a very supportive audience.
Christmas is always a busy time in the school with the Bazaar, Advent prayer services, Christmas lunch and of course a visit from Santa.
