Whitehead painter tells pupils of inspiration behind artworks
Joanne Campbell spoke with P7 pupils at the Minorca Place school last week about her acrylic paintings, for which she uses a range of different materials including canvas, slate, hessian and wood. The children were then shown a selection of her artworks.
Joanne noted that she will be exhibiting at Ballycarry Art Club’s Exhibition in Carrickfergus Civic Centre.

Hide AdThe exhibition is open daily 10am-4pm (except Sundays) until Saturday, April 2, with an artist in attendance each day. Entry is free and all work is available to purchase.
There will be around 80 pieces of art on display in various mediums of oil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil and also 3D art.
Subjects covered are landscape, seascape, animals, birds, floral, portraiture and abstract.
