The group meets every Tuesday in Lisburn. Its aim is to supply the highest level of emergency care at any type of private or public events.

Hide AdFirst Response NI uses volunteers from the local communities who either have, or can be trained to have, first aid certifications, First Person on Scene, Paediatric First Aid and higher, and who wish to use these to support the local communities.
All volunteers are trained in first aid according to HSE requirements, or First Person on Scene (FPOS). Most are also trained in CPR, Defibrillation and medical gases as well. A few are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and are authorised to drive the ambulance, once they have completed their emergency driving courses.
The group also have several medical practitioners and paramedics who work with them where additional levels of medical care are required and also to provide clinical governance to the organisation.
Membership is open to anyone interested in furthering the aims of First Response Northern Ireland.
