Dr Miller ‘fitness’ hearing adjourned
Dr Miller’s case was due to be heard by a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) Fitness to Practice panel in Manchester on April 8 and May 3.
Last week the panel hearing his case approved an application from the General Medical Council (GMC) for the hearing to proceed in private in its entirety.

Hide AdNow the MPTS panel has agreed to an application to adjourn the case.
A statement explained: “It will be re-listed and heard by a new panel at a future date. This application was heard in private session, so there will be no public minutes produced.”
Back in 2008 the former Londonderry man was the centre of a political storm when Iris Robinson told a local radio station: “I have a very lovely psychiatrist who works with me in my offices and his Christian background is that he tries to help homosexuals trying to turn away from what they are engaged in.” She was referring to Dr Miller.
