‘Dinosaurs were in Noah’s Ark’ Minister
Newbuildings Independent Methodist Minister, Rev Jonathan Campbell, also said that in the Bible, the word ‘Behemoth’ is used to refer to dinosaurs.
Quoting from Genesis 1:24, he stated: “And God made the beast of the earth after his kind and cattle after their kind and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind and God saw that it was good.”

Rev. Campbell espoused the creationist theory during a sermon aimed at younger members of his congregation on Sunday, March 3, and later posted it on an Evangelical website.
He later asked: “Did you know there were dinosaurs in Noah’s Ark. You see the Bible tells us that God said to Noah that there were to be animals of every kind brought into the Ark.
“Now obviously not all the animals who were in the world could be brought into the Ark because there wasn’t room for them but there were dinosaurs, some dinosaurs, who were brought into the Ark.”

He said it appeared in Job 40:15 and described a creature that ‘moveth his tail like a cedar’ tree.
“That’s the word the Bible uses for a dinosaur,” explained Rev Campbell. “You see the word dinosaur didn’t start to be used until 200 years ago. The Bible had already been written at that stage. And the Bible calls the dinosaur Behemoth.”
The Minister then claimed that after the flood the dinosaurs starved and froze.

He said dinosaurs had originally been herbivores but became carnivores through sin.
“They didn’t eat other animals but whenever sin came that’s when they started to kill other animals and eat them,” said the Minister.
