Mr Allister raised Invest NI’s USA mission with the Minister through an Assembly question.
He asked: “What guidance exists in respect of the expression of political opinions by staff employed by InvestNI in their offices in the USA and elsewhere; and whether there is a complaint from the British Consul General being investigated regarding the head of the West Coast office, operated by InvestNI in San Francisco?”

Hide AdFirst Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness joined Ms Brolly, Invest NI’s Senior Vice President of Business Development West Coast during the Executive’s St Patrick’s Day mission last month.Mrs Foster said there was no complaint and no investigation.
“Invest NI enjoys the support of the British Consulate-General and UK Trade and Investment in San Francisco,” she told Mr Allister. There have been no complaints raised by the Consul General or her office regarding Invest NI’s activities in San Francisco,” she added.
