Two families Move a Mile for Muscles
Josh McClean, 11 and Criostai Connolly, 8 have Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a condition which causes muscles to weaken and waste over time, leading to increasing disability. On September 9th they will be taking part in Move a Mile for Muscles at Riverside Park and would like as many of the local community as possible to come and join them!
The event starts at 6pm with registration at 5.30pm. There will be a treasure hunt along the one mile trail with some refreshments at the end. There is also an option to Move 3 miles on this fully accessible route.
