Tweed guilty of ten child sex abuse charges
Ballymena councillor David Tweed has been found guilty of ten child sex abuse charges.
Tweed, a former Irish international rugby player, faced a total of 14 charges relating to two girls, over an eight-year period.
He has been convicted of nine indecent assault charges and one charge of gross indecency.

Hide AdOn Tuesday, Tweed was cleared by a jury of ten women and two men on one count of indecent assault.
The jury has yet to reach agreement on a further three charges, two of gross indecency and one of indecent assault.
