Tough task for judge at Ballymena Irish Dancing Festival
There were over 650 entries from various dancing schools throughout the province, competing in a range of classes, over the six days.
These classes were for children under 5 years to adults. The audiences along with Mr Baird, were treated to a very high standard of dancing, making it very competitive. Mr Baird stated to the audience that the standard of dancing was exceptionally high. Musical accompaniment for the dancers was provided by Rose Murray and Dierdre Mullholland, Piano, Leslie Craig, Accordian and Johnny Murphy, Iain MacKay and Nial McLean, Fiddle.
