Super success for McCool's SuperValu
Northern Ireland boxing legend and manager of IBF and WBA Super-Bantamweight Champion of the World Carl Frampton, Barry McGuigan, was on hand to congratulate Peter McCool, owner of SuperValu Ballymoney, who picked up the SuperValu Highly Commended award, sponsored by Kerry Foods.
Also congratulated was Paul Steele, owner of Stevenson’s Mace, Kilrea who picked up Silver and Stephen Wilson, owner of Mace Coleraine, who picked up Bronze in the Mace Over 1800 sq ft category, sponsored by SCA.

Hide AdMcCool’s SuperValu Ballymoney was also recognised as the first store in Northern Ireland to achieve the Investor’s in People Gold Standard Award.
Musgrave NI organises the Gala Ball event each year for its 230 independent retailers in Northern Ireland across the SuperValu, Centra and Mace brands and finalists were selected following several rounds of performance and standards audits.
