Successful end to a great year at Cross and Passion College
The principal,Mrs Barbara Ward, has praised the students.
“I want to warmly congratulate our students,” she said.
“A Levels are really demanding and it has been a real privilege to work with students who have risen to the challenge.
“I am delighted that for so many, the work has paid off. It was a pleasure to share their excitement this morning.”

Hide AdDespite the decline at national level, the percentage of top grades in Cross and Passion continues to rise with nearly 60 per cent of the grades awarded being A*, A and B.
This year, ten students were awarded straight A*, A or equivalent Grades in three or more subjects.
The school’s top two achievers included Eoin McAuley with four A grades and Cliodhna McGuckian with A*, Distinction*, and an A Grade.
Seoinin McGarry, three A Grades, is going to QUB to study Medicine, Eoin will study a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at QUB and Cliodhna will study a BSc in Nursing.

Hide AdMrs Ward expressed her deep gratitude to the staff of the college and the parents who give their children and the school such wonderful support.
“These great results come on the back of a very positive inspection report for the school,” she said.
The ETI team reported that all aspects of the school were ‘Very Good’ and were particularly positive about the quality of teaching and learning, the strategies being used to promote high achievement as well as the outstanding pastoral care.
“We wish all of our young people every success in the next step,” the headmistress concluded.
