Students to represent Loreto at BT Young Scientist Exhibition 2017
Year 12 students Donal Close and Sian Donaghy have entered their project, Phone Book Physics, into the Intermediate Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences category. Meanwhile Year 14 student Emmett Brolly will represent Loreto in the Individual Senior Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences category with a project entitled Bead Fountain.
The students were accompanied to the Stormont reception by Physics teachers Mrs Maeve Close and Mrs Katrina Brolly. Of a total of 2091 project submissions, the two Loreto projects were among 550 to qualify for the final Exhibition, which will be held in Dublin from 11th-14th January 2017.

Hide AdThe students, and their teachers, were congratulated on their selection for the competition and wished well for their final preparations by Mr Michael James, Principal of Loreto College, on behalf of all the staff and students of the College.
