Students help Dara's Crossfire event
Past pupil, Dara O hArtghaile, is heading off to Vietnam this month to complete a sponsored cycle with other members of the charity.

Hide AdDara was inspired to become involved with this charity after hearing its founder, Richard Moore, who was blinded by a plastic bullet in 1972 when he was just 10 years old, speak at the school’s annual prize giving ceremony in 2007.
The students and staff who participated, completed a 15 minute cycle on one of the six static bikes in the front foyer of the school. The cycle event created a ‘great buzz’ in the school and raised a total of 1411.50 for charity.
