St Mary’s have the ‘Fit Factor’
The winning schools will go head to head on June 16 at a fun Lidl Fit Factor finale event, competing for the overall prize of £4,000 to spend on sports equipment and the honour of being crowned ‘Lidl Fit Factor Challenge Champions’.
Schools across Northern Ireland took part in the Lidl Fit Factor Challenge, which has been designed to help encourage young people to think about healthy development including physical activity, healthy eating being confident and creative.

Hide AdThe culmination of the two week challenge was a ‘creative project’ which asked pupils to illustrate the benefits of the Lidl Fit Factor to their class with the aim of encouraging them to adopt healthy habits that they will continue into adulthood.
Commenting on the announcement of the finalists, Lucia Christy from Lidl Northern Ireland said, “It was a tough job choosing the six county winners who have now been named as our finalists in the Fit Factor Challenge. There has been an outstanding amount of effort and imagination put into every entry.
“St. Mary’s Primary now has a fantastic opportunity at grasping the top spot in our final event and winning a great prize.”
