Sports club ransacked
THREE local sports clubs were attacked over a single weekend in March 1978.
The worst-hit was Lurgan Golf Club, where a gang forced their way in through a back door and ransacked the building.
Police said the thieves escaped with 800 cigarettes, chocolate bars and the money from a pool table.
