Solicitor says client was not streetwise in his admission
Francis Thomas Cameron Rea (36), Parkmore, Craigavon, was sentenced to one month in prison for possession of cannabis on April 11 this year.
A concurrent three month term was imposed for possession of cannabis with intent to supply. Both of the prison sentences were suspended for 12 months.

Hide AdPolice went to an address in Craigavon after a report of a domestic disturbance. The householder asked for the defendant to be removed from the house.
Police found cannabis resin in a tobacco pouch on his person.
Rea admitted getting the cannabis from another person with the intention of giving it to his cousin.
Mr Conor Downey, representing the defendant, said if Rea had been a bit more streetwise he would have said it was for his own use. He added that there was nothing for this type of offence on the defendant’s record and this seemed to be a one off matter.
