Say ‘On your bike, prostate cancer!’
That’s why this Father’s Day (June 21st) Ballymoney Rotary Club will join thousands of charity supporters from across the UK to get on their bike and take part in the national fundraising effort and biggest cycling event of its kind, the ‘Rotary Ride’.
Ballymoney Club is urging members of the public to put on their lycra and join them at Ballymoney Rugby Club on June 21st at 10.30am to take part in their Fun Run to Dunluce Castle. The event is open to all, especially families and will take a quiet rural route of 14 miles avoiding main roads. The return leg can also be done but participants should contact 07940350488 if they need transport back to Ballymoney. A hog roast (£12, tickets must be pre ordered) or tea and scones (free to cyclists) will be provided. A donation of £10 to Prostrate Cancer UK will be your entry fee for the cycle event. A Family Fun Day will be held at the grounds next to Dunluce from 1pm to 5pm and ample parking will be available.
