Saved Dunmurry gig proves a big hit
Dunmurry Presbyterian Church were the knights in shining armour as a local concert went off as a huge success.
After the fire in St Colman’s Church threatened the performance of renowned musicians Ulrich Herkenhoff and Alexandre Cellier, the Minister and congregation of the Presbyterian Church stepped in and offered their venue.
That meant the show could go on and it was performed without a hitch. Despite the dreadful weather, a crowd still turned up to hear the duo play Romanian Folk Music and a few Irish tunes as well.
Alexandre amused the audience greatly when he played a rose leaf, a sponge, a cup, and a crutch.
